Difficulties and momentary troubles

"Come to Him with the difficulties that are weighing you down. Even though there is no relief in sight, your troubles are actually light and momentary—from an eternal perspective. Your problems feel so heavy because you have given them too much power. Each time you focus on them and forget about Him, you empower them a bit more. Even small objects placed very close to your eyes can obscure most of the vista before you. He wants you to put your troubles down long enough to view the vast expanse of Life that is spread out before you—all the way into eternity!"

God bless and keep you. May His face shine upon you and give you peace. All our love, Denny and family (all four of us 😁).

Thank you Denny! I miss your brief sermons on here. You know I'm not a man of faith, but I still find you and your words an inspiration. No pressure man, but keep it up. Stay safe and strong my friend.

No problem Spirit! I try to post what I can, when I can.. I myself find inspiration when thinking them up, it inspires me to share what I'm thinking at the moment. Like you said, I know we don't share the same faith, but it still provides hope and inspiration to all who take the time to read it.

Good to see ya Spirit, have you dipped a line yet?

Several times. My most successful trip was with Saw1 - we caught about 30 stripers one fine morning over on the Napa River. Steve was kind enough to take me out on his boat and show me how it's done.

Oh yes! Next three days supposed to get up around 110 or over. I saw it was 117 in Las Vegas and this weekend they're talking record hi's in Death Valley. I think that's up around 125 or so. Crikey!

Me too.. hopefully the walleye will be in the river this year, last year was no Bueno, but the year before was excellent. I maxed out a couple times that year and the walleye averaged 4+ pounds!! It was a fun year to say the least, I wore my reel out in one season lol
