I am wondering if this true A fisherman who wished to remain anonymous landed a massive German brown trout that was certified as a world record by the International Game Fish Association.

The angler, who asked to be known only as Seamus from Turgani, caught the 44-pound, 5-ounce brown trout last fall from a fishery known to produce large trout and salmon, and it recently became an official world record, as reported by Field and Stream.

It looks more like an Atlantic Salmon than a Brown Trout.

I can't believe the way everyone is second guessing everything there is. I fish because I was born with a great desire to get out and catch any and every fish possible. I am 67 years young. I am disabled with hard core pain, hate pain pills, but forced to take them. I keep track of my personal best in memory of how many good fishing trips I have had. How many kids that I have taken fishing, how much fishing gear that I have handed out to those kids. I believe that being a man is being who believe you should be and acting on it. I am not anyone better than anyone else. I just enjoy my life and beliefs. Stand for my freedom. Why does everyone have to second guessing everything. Sorry to vent Dan

I understand. I have been there. Just something to think about. When the pills quit working, and they will if opioids, take the big step. Get help and get off. I took them for several years and only prescription as directed. Prescription or not they are addictive. There are Doctors trained to help you get off the meds. It is tough, but if they quit working then why feel like total crap when you feel like total crap and still feel like total crap when you are having a relatively good day compared to some. I went fishing this morning, but came in because I hurt to much. On the meds, I would not have gotten to go at all as I will not drive on the meds. I hope your pain improves.
