Looking for tips and spots near Columbus ohio
The spillway at Hoover is a good spot for smallies and Saugeye.
Above the dam is too
Alum creek is a decent fishery
Little bit of a drive but Delaware lake is a really good bass fishery.
Even further drive Knox lake arguably has best chance for a lunker largemouth. I think it’s trolling motor only so if you have a canoe or kayak , you are in business.
Not sure about the cats. I don’t target them.

Welcome to the Stage Rbf.
Welcome RBF, I have to agree with Ben, Knox lake is managed for bass by isn’t. They rebuilt the dam/spillway last year. Don’t know how that will affect the fishing, the water was drawn down for quite some time. Looking for cats, I would also suggest Hoover. Good populations of channels and blues, Cut Shad seems to be the bait of choice. Good luck!
Should be odnr not isn’t. Hate auto correct! Tight lines
