Ok fella hows everything going? Good I hope and I hope if you are under the heat dome that you stay cool.. we are praying.

Alright, about the stinky pets: the wife and daughter talked me into not one, but TWO stinky ferrets.. my gosh they smell musty. I am going to invest in an air scrubber and see how that helps. Has anyone on here ever had a smelly pet, and what did you do to cope with/beat the smell?? So far they have the scent gland removed and they're both fixed.. we have kept the cage (huge cage) clean and gave the critters a bath yet the smell remains. Im making it sound worse than it actually is.. they just smell by nature.

Zero experience with stinky pets. Mother would not put up with it growing up. Wife probably would, she loves critters, stinky or not. But ferrets and such are not legal in California. We've got four dogs, they're stinky enough for me. Hope you are doing well. I'm in the middle of getting my house painted and living room floor replaced. Interior paint is finished, working on the outside now.

I am just now getting back to the site today.. Spirit, we are well, thank you for asking! I hope all is well with you, are you in the line of fire with the wildfires?? We will continue to pray. I absolutely dislike painting. Painting and grouting, both are a pain in my rear end..

Mistred, thats hilarious lol

The stinky pet was a fox I had as a kid found him in the woods when he was just a few days old I think he grew up thinking he was a cat

The best I have ever seen is a product called Elimishield. I use it to kill the bacteria that causes human odor when deer hunting. In fact, I have used it as my deodorant since July 2018, and I only apply it once a week.
It's a unique formula that kills organic (living) bacteria. It physically kills the bacteria using billions of microscopic ION Spikes. Under a microscope, they look like a huge bed of nails. There are no harmful chemicals and is FDA approved for direct to skin application. It's awesome and cheap. I got mine on Amazon. You can get direct to skin FOAM or what they call FIELD SPRAY.
Good luck!

My sister-in-law raises those things and you can’t smell them in her house. She has about 8 of them in a huge cage in the living room. It takes up a whole wall. She bathes them all EVERY day and, completely, replaces all the bedding in their cage. She sprays them with some kind of ferret, safe, disinfectant after every bath as well as disinfects or deodorizes the cage EVERY day. Lots of work but she does it. She breeds and sells the crazy things. Actually makes decent money with it. I haven’t seen her for a few years because she’s no longer a sister-in-law but whatever she did was working when I was around.🤷‍♂️

There's not much around me in Lincoln that can burn. Mostly grass and agriculture - rice fields and such. Folks who live in or near a forest are the ones who need to worry. For the most part. We're pretty safe. If you wanna pray for us, pray for rain. A lot of it. And snow in the mountains come winter. Too late for this year.
