Hey Grizz, I gotta mention this, since you brought up that song. About nine years ago, my son proposed to his (now) wife, using that song. He was living here in Lawrence, and she lived in a small town about 40 miles SW of Lawrence, called Overbrook. He measured it out precisely from his house to hers, then pinpointed the exact midpoint between the two, and that’s where he took her to propose to her and play the song.
It’s been over eight years of blessed marriage and three (perfect 😉) kids since then. I’ve thought many times, over the years, that those lyrics are some of the best to live by if you want a long, successful marriage.

Thanks Grizz. Approaching 10th year. Getting tougher. Every time I say I've had enough, it keeps pulling me back in. Call me crazy, I guess.
We all have a path to walk G. Some take physical toll on the body some takes a toll on the mind. I'll take physical strees over mental. That takes a toll on everything👍👍

Not “crazy”; maybe “crazy awesome”!!
Right out of high school, our daughter got her CNA and started working at a nursing home. Within a year, she just “couldn’t take it anymore” and quit. She told us every time she would “get close” to a resident, they would die and break her heart. It seems she was coming home crying all the time. We told her we understood; she’s always been very tender hearted.
It takes a special person to do those kind of jobs and I salute you who do it.

Your neighbors will appreciate that. 😂
That she did FD. Just spent 4 hours talking about her husband who was my BFF, some family drama that is going on, and the good old days.
Amazing what one learns when just listening

True. We are at $2.93 a gallon. Could it hit $3.00 prior to the 4th? Probably.
We just hit $3.00 / gallon on Friday

Ain’t that the truth.
Yup. No one ever learned anything when talking. Listening is always when it transpires.
