i went out fishing this morning at high tide, there was tons of action, snakeheads all around the edges in the weeds, probably seen 100 of them. couldn't catch not one i swear i landed my lure right on top of one several times. i was using a frog bait and a friend used a chatterbait, we had no luck at all. i have yet to catch a decent one , i've got the spot but not the skill to catch. any tips?

If they are SNAKEHEADS immediately report their location to your state game and wildlife division, or DNR. Snakeheads are an invasive, and nuisance fish. In Arkansas they are to be removed and killed, reporting the location where it was caught.
I've caught alot of snakeheads on shad color swimbaits. They like frogs and shad.

Snakehead look similar to Bowfin. I've had good luck catching Bowfin on cut bait with a circle hook.
