I use nightcrawlers and leeches as bait in an area that has pike, bass, channel and flathead catfish, etc. Will all of those fish eat crawlers and leeches on bottom and under a bobber?

--I fish leeches under slip bobbers regularly, and bass and walleye love them! Also big bluegills and outsize channel cats as well. Have caught a couple pike on them also. Slip bobber rig let’s you put the bait right in their face, especially suspended fish!

I use leeches on a bottom rig to go after brown trout. They suck them up right off the bottom.

maybe a couple of inches off bottom would work a lil better, too.
