I just finished making this with only a few parts and a heat gun.
Must admit, that is pretty clever.

I would've tried some 22.5 degree elbows under the tees to see if they could work. I know heating up PVC (and most thermoplastics) to bend it weakens it substantially. A buddie's PVC rig cracked after he heated it when he was loading it up and applied a bit of loading to it.

My buddy did this concept but using TβS instead of crosses. He soon realize mistakes were made

45's on both ends? Just sayin',
That's a nice setup!
Thatβs really cool π. Just a couple of suggestions. I would have used grey conduit to match the kayak and then you could have used 22 degree sweeps and Iβd of used 90s on the ends. Easier on the elbows when you reach back. Really nice rig. π
Looks good. If it works for you than it is perfect. Don't worry about those critics .
You just built my exact rig only I put a trolling motor and fishing finder in the front by way of the same mount and setup that sets right in the pole hole in the front of my kayak.
Very nice you should be proud

Don't be bothered by any comments; they are all well intended and most of us are always looking at how things can be improved - that is far easier than actually wading in a making your own as you did.
Great ideas and you did a nice job building it.
Nice settup... Next time you wanna bend that pvc, fill it with sand and then do just what you did.. It may take a bit longer, but no kinks..
