Yep another work week is upon many and that hurry up get-er-done thought is in your head.
But take that 60 second break and smell that bacon on the stove, coffee brewing, and open the kitchen window to smell that fresh cut grass from last night.
The boss can wait for you to get started, he or she is still sleeping and having dreams that you don't come home smelling like fish.
Tight lines brothers and sisters headed out myself this morning.
Gmorn Plum. I'm drinking my coffee now. Soon I'll take Chylo out for morning play time. Then believe it or not I'm going fishing. My cuz n i are going to lake at the fish n game club we belong to. No boats there. Better than nothing. Maybe I'll at least catch a gill. Yep I'm taking some bait this time. Y'all have a great day stay safe π£π£πΊπΈπΊπΈ

Another good one Plumb, so true.
Always, Plum. Enjoying my Blue Mountain coffee from Zabar's in NYC, all windows open 24/7 now. Birds woke me up this morning, pleasantly. Hope you have a great day at the water!

Good advice for old work -aholics like me
Yep one of the things that is overlooked of the many.
Good luck pb.
And of course we would like pictures.
Please.
Well this was very appropriate for me today. As I started reading the post I got my first sniff of my cuppa and it felt real good. Nothing like starting out mellow on the morning. Now if I can get a line wet.
Funny story. At my daughter's for dinner yesterday. My fishing buddy GD comes to me and says she has a job for me. She needs me to take a bird nest out of her reel. So I ask her. How did you get a knot in a spinner. Answer, not the spinner, the new rod you gave me. That would be her Lews Pro and the Fenwick rod. Same question, how. Oh a friend asked me if she could try my rod, said she used one all the time. Well we all know what the answer SHOULD have been but she's a sweet and says yes. That reel had more loops than I'd seen in a long time. Couldn't even find the end of the line. Got it straightened out with a few snips with the scissors she brought me. At least it was braid on the reel. Don't think she'll ever lend that rod to anyone else. Qππ

My smile is as big as yours G man, Snoopy is a good addition to the thread. Great pic. Especially with the Ford logo over your left shoulder.
Speaking of pics not going to happen today Oz. Had one little pike on top water this morning smaller then last weeks.
Hit and held on for about 5 seconds, came out of the water full body and spit me right out.
As for the memo fishyaker, Only one read it evidently.
But a beautiful 75* morning was not wasted in front of the TV.
