Two piece rod suggestions?

Planning on spending the money for a new abu garcia revo baitcaster (read a lot of good things about them) and im having trouble figuring out what rod to get to go with it. I travel a lot for work so I need something that can collapse down to a reasonable size but also be able to take on some bigger fish like muskie or large pike. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

DoubleoSieben: Well, friend, I have never caught or seen either of the fish you are trying to catch, so am of little help there. However, most large tackle stores will have more than one selection of rods from which you may choose. I know that you can be well equipped with an Ugly Stick. Now whether they offer rods that are two piece, you will have to inqure about those. Just Sayin...RJS

Ugly stiks come in 1 and 2piece rods, I have both and they work equally on different set ups.

I have a two piece St. Croix Avid spinning rod. I find it easier to take with me on vacation when I need to load a lot of stuff into the back of my Subaru. Works as well as any one piece rod I have.

I would definitely look at the St. Croix website. The rods cost a few bucks, but they are worth every penny.

I once caught a large stingray on a 7’ two piece Ugly Stik. 50 lb mono. Stingray was as wide as or wider than 1886 Sportsman. Wingtip to wingtip. Fought for 45 minutes, it pulled the boat around. Gathered quite an audience. Audience left when I got it to the surface and they saw what it was.

Probably a large shark. There seem to be plenty of them around there.
