So walked out from the building to check the regulator on my air compressor and found this S.O.B. coiled up next to it it's the second one in two or three months I've had to kill on a job I have to zoom in a little bit on the picture

Well that's plenty big enough to be dangerous.
Be careful out and about around there. I'm sure he's not alone. There's probly others around as well.
They do like to coil up with hoses. Everyone be careful when watering your gardens, too!
Darn good thing he wasn't camped out under the compressor.
Yep! They always come in pairs, according to my dad. Just keep a close watch. Just Sayin...RJS

I found it kind of weird the way he coiled up next to my air compressor the air compressor was running so I wonder if it had something to do with the vibration or if it was just the coolness of the concrete
When I was a kid and we were living on my grandfather's farm and taking care of him, One Saturday evening we had company and it was about dark. I was outside of the yard, and running down a sandy path. Up ahead what looked like a long stick was accross this path, but when I got closer it was a rattlesnake, headed for our yard! I was going to fast to stop, so I jumped over it and then called dad and he killed it. The next day, we scouted around and found the mate and killed it! Never assume just one. Just Sayin...RJS

That reminds me of a story my dad told me RJ he was deer hunting and they came up to a big oak tree and decided to take a breather under the tree in the shade dad went down to lean against the trunk of the tree and sit down and almost sat on top of one

Boy that would have been a bite in the A%#
Stay vigilant Lil Al, my grandparents had a Orange Orchard Ranch in Lemon Cove Ca., when I was a kid we use to help on the ranch with the irragation, I personally saw at least a dozen or more every year, biggest one he killed was about 6 1/2 feet 11 rattlers.
