Any reason as to why I keep losing fish??

Yesterday I fished at a pond I usually fish , and unlike any other time, I “hooked” onto 13 good sized fish, and every one of them came off . I used a shaky head, lipless crank, jig, and a jerkbait. I’m not sure as to why I lost them all, but it was really aggravating, reeled them in for about 5-10 seconds and right when they got close they just popped right off. I use 15 pound braid, and drag set fairly low.

Since its happening on multiple lures, I'd guess you need to put a little more power in your hookset. Chances of having dull hooks on everything is pretty slim. Try crossing their eyes next time, and see if it helps.

Could be the type of rod you're using also depending on how hard you set the hook. If you have a pretty stiff rod and you yank hard....you'll miss the fish, or snatch its lips into..

Maybe your drag is set too low.

Greenfrog has it right. Keep the drag so there is practically no give when you set the
hook, then immediately reduce the drag to a working level. Also, be sure your rod has
some backbone and not like a wet noodle.

Just keep the rod bent when playing the fish, never give slack and I agree with the comments above, you need to really set the hook, your feet should almost leave the ground

Ha! Ha! Good comment, BassmouthRick. Back in the late 50's when I first
started bass fishing I remember a TV personality -- maybe Jerry McGinnis -- advising
to "Set the hook like you're trying to cross their eyes". I've followed that advice
ever since.

You can usually tell if a fish is just mouthing or nibbling on a bait so maybe letting them run a little as they commit a little further and one good hard set in the bony parts of the fish's mouth will net you better luck.
