Have fun and let us know what you caught. I just cleaned out the boat and fired it up this morning, and the Connecticut river temp just hit 560 yesterday. It's time to go.

Whoa!! 560 degrees seems a little warm for fishing. Are the fish already boiled when you land em?😂

Ok kids, I'm back from Zoar. Water still a little cool,59°at the ramp, 61°in my favorite spot, 57°-58°up north closer to the dam. Lots of pollen, seeds, and twigs on the surface, messed up topwater and all cast and retrieve basically. Caught a couple junior Smallmouth and a couple Rockys. It was up to 85°by 1:00 and I was roasting, so I called it a day. Gotta save some energy for tomorrow.
Going Largemouth hunting tomorrow, at a lake down near our southeast shoreline.

Nice job buddy. I'm still home instead of at the pond. Wife decided that since my brother and PIC are coming tomorrow so he can help me on the boat if needed, that I should "consider" mowing the lawn and cleaning the patio up a bit. Still have to blow off the hardscape.

OK! So I added a "Zero" by mistake. I stand corrected. The important thing is that the river is getting warmer, and that is the best part. If any/all of you guys could only be lucky enough to come up and experience summer fishing in New England, you'd all wanna be up here every year. Can I get an Amen Fred?

I'll give you an Amen, but some of these guys have a fishery that puts mine to shame. You've got a better one than I do. The Summer is nice though.
Some of the guys get 30-40 bass in a day. That's a month's worth in Connecticut. LOL
I've seen club tournaments where only half the boats weighed in any fish.
