Hey CDB,
Thought you might like this. It’s a REAL stuffed frog from Mexico, playing a guitar. I’ve had it for about 40-50 years. Kinda neat....
I also play.

That looks like a toad to me Randy. But what do I know? It's your amphibian, you call it what you like. Sapo o franchute, es tu llamada.

Long ago, in the far, far away galaxy of a farm pond located near Columbus, OH, I had an interesting encounter with what I was told were "Amazon Bullfrogs".

This fella had stocked his huge 3 acre pond with frogs, with the intention of occasionally harvesting some of them for consumption in the form of good ole' frog legs. He told a friend that now that they had matured, he could not get anywhere close to one to catch it. That friend called me...and put me in touch with the the pond owner. He explained his plight, and assured me that there was absolutely "no way" they could be caught. He said he had tried everything, and had also enlisted other outside help...all to no avail.

I showed up with a fly rod in hand and proceeded to catch a frog at a rate of about 1 per every five minutes. They were HUGE, and indeed the largest I had ever seen in my travels within the USA. They also put up one heck of a fight, and I was glad that the stout Fenwick 9' fiberglass rod was able to keep them from burrowing into the cat tails, etc.

The guy was baffled, confused and greatly satisfied with what had just transpired. I said that frogs like to eat bugs, and fly fishing is a way of presenting a bug to the frog from a great distance. Not sure if he ever got into fly casting for fish, but I gave him an onsite lesson and advice about getting his own rig, which I am almost certain he did.

The best thing about this was that it did not cost me one red cent for all that fun and excitement....other than some gas money!

My buddy, Harry, has a whole mariachi band of those toads, replete with sombreros and those gaudy short jackets they wear, the biggest one playing the horizontal bass....had pants !
His wife absolutely HATES them !

He had me create a glass display case so he could keep them dust free....passed on my offer to make it lighted and with a mirror back....wifey put her foot down on how much he could spend on something she didn't want in "her house", anyway ! It hangs on the wall behind his desk.
I've had odd requests like that my whole career of building custom furniture etc., a walking cane collection, a Duncan yo-yo collection, my former employee's (from the years we built Tara Labs speaker cabs) guitar pick collection (collected over many years as a backstage worker for the music venue, BrittFest..... B.B.King, Graham Nash, Kris Kristofferson, Bob Weir, Mark Knoffler + dozens and dozens more....who knew they all have Fender etc personalized/logo versions ? I didn't.)... glass-faced cabinet was shaped like a guitar, of course.

If I were you Randy, I'd add a rattlesnake ashtray and a Jackalope in a clever pose and check "kitsch" off your list ! Lol.

Word on the street is that Doyle's been hanging lost frog posters in his neighborhood. Know anything about that CBD?
