From YouTube reviews I've gathered that they're quality for the money. Does anyone here have experience with them?

I picked up one of their higher priced baitcasters (still relatively inexpensive) and have been pleasantly surprised by its performance. Don’t know how long it’s going to last however.

I've got a Rover 40 and some little ultra light spinning reel. Got the Rover 40 just to find out myself if it was as bad as the guy trashing it said. Cost me $45 on Amazon. Take what I say with a grain of salt, I have a sample of two! Love them both.

I'm a believer! Kastking baitcasters work really well for the money. Having said that realize they won't last forever. I fish salt water and I expect them to last a couple years at best. Another cheap reel I have used with good results is the (better check the spelling on this first) is the Pescifun. They have a 6 bearing, 7:1 reel that is really quite small and light and smooth as silk. I use it for quarter ounce or less jigs and as long as you don't cast into the wind and keep them adjusted they definitely get it out there.

I also have Kastking. 1 baitcaster white max cast well very smooth 1 smaller spinning reel lite works fine. Will it last a lifetime wbo knows. I had zebco 202s that lasted through many many fish. I had a big one rip the gears. My fault had the drag locked. Oh by the way i also have 3 $200 BCs rest BCs n spinning reels$75/$150. Some for over 20 years still working. Fishing gear is like vehicles n most things in life. Personal preference n budget. If you like it use it 👍👍

I just bought a Kastking Speed Demon that is 10.5:1 ratio and a Lews med-hvy 7'2" rod for flipping into the brush. It's the fastest reel I have seen and seems very strong and durable. The $115.00 price tag was amazing.

I have 4 Sharkey III, bought 4 more for gifts, they all are very smooth, cast great. All are 3-4 years old now and never had a problem with any of them. One of the best brake systems I've seen on a spinning reel. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

Yeah, the brake system on them is great compared to the really high dollar stuff out there.

Good point...for $50 bucks...try one. See if you dont like it as much as reels costing much more.

I did! A huge fan of ABU's but I'd buy another Kastking in a hot second if ABU get's to out of line with price!
