Looking for a sensitive rod recommendation.

I have a Diawa laguna 100HSA but am not very familiar with rods. I was given a pretty stiff Diawa brand rod but it is not as sensitive as I would like. I mainly fish Texas rigged 6-12 inch long plastic worms so being able to feel the bottom good would be nice. Any recommendations are helpful.

Sensitivity seems to be directly related to weight and balance. If there is a good balance between rod and reel, the combo will be sensitive.

Also, rods with fast actions are typically more sensitive than slower rods. When two rods are built from similar high-quality graphite, and both rods have a fast action, then the lighter one (physical weight) is usually the most sensitive.

The weight of the lure you are using will play into how sensitive a rod is. If you are trying to feel the bottom with a 1/8 oz weight on a rod that is rated 4 – 8 oz., you're going to have a much harder time.

he Bass Pro Carbon rods are some of the most sensitive rods i've ever used. Especially considering the weight of the rods, they are also very strong.

Wanna shoot for the moon ?
GLoomis NRX is incredibly sensitive
Also incredibly expensive
Best $100 rod I’ve ever owned is a Shimano Exage. Lot of rod for the money.
