Hello everybody.just want to let you guys know how much I appreciate your input and recommendation in helping me fine my dream bait caster rod.I. have made my decision but would not have have made this decision on my own. I have decided to have a rodcrafter make it. I have made appointments. with three different crafters. So again thanks a million guys. Will keep you updated.

Hay it’s great fun to build your own rod. Go to mud hole and buy a cheep how to build a rod. Then find a rod you like, remember the handle and for grip has to feel good to you. I started building rods 40 years ago using a coffee cut to put it thread in and a book to run thread for tension and I still have rod. Now I have a power wrapper. One more thing when you build your own rod you take better care of it. Enjoy
