Or mayhaps.... further practice of casting accuracy and muscle-memory for the gear choice would simply keep you out of the bushes in the first place, huh ?

I don't choose to drive 4-penny finish nails with a 28oz waffle-head framing hammer....I could get the job done, sure, but there will be marks on the finished product that will need to be dealt with. Or for you hunters.... you don't need to load double-aught buckshot in your 12-gauge for hunting dove.

Pick your perils, hone your skills, make finesse triumph over brute force....true in craftsmanship, true in sportsmanship..... regardless of quarry, imo.

Um, I intentionally flip in the bushes. Do you even fish for bass?

No not at all just know a bit about line strength. I fish Tarpon in the 100lb range with 20lb fluorocarbon. Big fish on light line can be fun.

Flip that 7.5lb line in the middle of a bush and it will explode on the hook set! Actually, you will break off a lot without a fish because when you're fishing bushes, you will get hung up often & you're not going to troll right up to where your hung, you have to pull on your line to get your bait out. I've snapped 65lb braid doing such. I won't flip bushes with anything other than 65lb braid. Just saying.

seems like you're more interested in keeping your tackle than catching fish.
