Nice fish they both caught. I have yet to target or catch one but will hopefully one day. Ask them if they performed the acrobatics tarpon are famous for.

both fish jumped several times
that is what my son said
boat had to chace both fish to keep from breaking off

When they run you have to chase them or theyโ€™ll strip your line. Glad they were able to land and release them.

Thatโ€™s a really nice Tarpon! Probably about all one could handle on a rod and reel! I had one about 1/2 that size try to jerk me into the water once in Grand Cayman. Nice fish!
