Hi. I am Ginger from South Carolina. I am headed to Carrabelle Fl next week for a boating and fishing vacation. We have a 24’ Sea Hunt and plan to do A LOT of fishing while there. Can anyone give me the best suggestions for inshore as well as offshore fishing for the area? Thanks so much.

Fish near shore around the islands on the gulf side with a pompano rig and sand fleas or fish bites for bait. Fish troughs near sand bars.. Look forward to reds, whiting, drum, sheepshead and pompano. Have fun!

There’s a real good summary for you. With a boat to get away from shore but near channels and sandbars you’re gonna have a blast.

...and plenty of sharks and sting rays to steal your bait and bend your rod real good. Looking forward to hearing about your trip when you get back. You're going to love it there.

Maybe to keep from bothering with the sharks smd rays, the trick will be to be casting jigs and silver spoons. If with bait, keep it small and use shrimp.
Talkin with a local or two should get you on the right fish.
