Been old enough for a lifetime license for quite a few years now but all my old fishing buddies that bought one passed away within one year of buying one.

Think I will pass , looks like bad luck to me !

Washington offers a senior license for a few bucks and a disability license from hunters and fishers for very little. You do need to have a doctor fill out a form declaring you disabled to the degree the state requires and licenses are yearly. Out of state license can usually be bought by the day or week or yearly.

I got my lifetime license here in California somewhere around 1990, glad I did because over the long run I have saved a lot of money, and it has more than paid for itself. I think back then I paid something around 400 or $500.

California does not give any discount to seniors for fishing or hunting licenses.

Able man I'm not sure on that one. I do know they had a pretty good senior discount several years ago but I think Governor Kasich and his buddies got that changed. yeah I don't think there's much of a discount anymore for seniors ☹

Age 66 you can buy senior license for $10 a year. I just brought mine for 3 yrs for $28.50 for 3 yrs. July I'll hit the 67 mile marker.
