I'm visiting family in Ohio from my home in California. Just discovered yesterday that a
1 year non-resident license in Ohio is cheaper than my California resident license!

Yea we aren’t too expensive here.
We recently started a 3 year program. Saves like $20

I just like having it covered.
Everyone I stop at the local tackle shop for a new license, I end up spending a hundred dollar bill getting more stuff I really don’t need

Have fun in our great state!!!

I haven't found ANY that don't charge no matter where. Fishing Hunting...Natural Resources doesn't seem to matter what state I go. None seem to be low priced. I always wonder why its an assumption only one type charges when they all do.

Luckily us old farts can buy a lifetime license in PA for $52. Just need to buy annual trout ticket.

Ohio's non resident is reasonable at $50.96.
I do get a kick out of the Erie permit from Jan 1 to Apr 30 for $11.00 though.. Kinda like paying extra for when the fishin is good..LOL

really you guys ,, who cares ??? i am in Montana and it really does not matter what the cost ,, and i am not even close to being what people consider wealthy,, figure the cost spread out over 12 months and the amount-of enjoyment that we get from hunting , fishing, hiking , etc.. pretty darn cheap activity i think!!

Well said Lobo.. Every year I get my Resident PA and Non-Resident New York, Ohio, and Montana. It's just the price ya gotta pay for enjoyment. I'll be back in the Trout Creek, MT area working again this summer and will be spending some time wetting my line in the Noxon Res.
