Bass fishing: Would you recommend using braid with a flouro leader? (Spinning rod)
I’ve always used straight mono or flouro, because I often switch out lures. The only reason I am hesitant is because I don’t want to keep replacing my leader. Is it worth it?

I don't fish for bass, but could you use a snap swivel? I use braid with fluoro leader for trout. It's for sure worth it when trout fishing. Trout can be quite line-shy.
I have converted many of my setups to braid with a fluoro leader, but can’t say for a fact that I caught more fish than I did with my Stren or Trilene mono lines.
I only use a fluoro leader when fishing very clear water. With the thin diameter of 10 pound Power Pro and moss green color I usually don't use a leader.
I use braid with flouro leader on all my rods.
I haven’t been doing this all that long, but I’ve found that I prefer braid because of its lack of “memory” and I just seem to get tangled less. Replacing the leader is a bit of a pain, but you get used to a new knot and it’s like anything else. Can’t necessarily claim that it’s caught me more fish because I haven’t fished the two options side by side.
If you use about 15 -18 inches of fluorocarbon leader tied to a small swivel with your braid
on the other end you will have a stronger connection than with a fluorocarbon/braid knot with
no rod eye wear or problems. This works well with spinning rods where more line can be dangling
under your rod tip when you cast. I can use this with my baitcaster -- but I have 60 years of bait casting
experience.
