Hey guys, thanks for all the Birthday wishes.
Wanted to go fishin yesterday out at lake Sonoma but my sister is putting my Mom in a nursing home. She turns 93 next month and they were suppose to move her in yesterday. So I stayed home to Skype with her before she left.
My Mom and I Skype at least twice a day if I'm not fishin and on those days we Skype at bedtime to say goodnight.
Anyway, since I didn't go fishin yesterday I was goin today. Well, they didn't move her completely in yesterday so they are finishing it today so I stayed at the house to be able receive a Skype from her before she left today.
She Skyped me this morning and we talked for a little while and she doesn't know when we'll be able to talk again after she moves.
No phone lines at the new place and she's almost blind so she can't see cell phones any more.
She's real discouraged and feels like she's bein kicked to the curb.
Just wanted to ask for y'all to keep her in your prayers for her to have strength, courage and peace. And that they can get her computer hooked up soon so we can continue to Skype.
My FS family is SO big and scattered all over the country/world I know I'll never meet most of you but I really feel like we're family just the same.

Is this nursing home so new they don't have phone lines hooked up yet? I'm assuming they will have land lines for people to call in and out for information, appointments, emergencies, etc.

They just don't have land lines to individual rooms. It was goin to cost bout 70 dollars a month extra for a phone line to her room.

Check out mobil hotspots K-Mart has on $50.00 a month. There's others that maybe cheaper.
