Bait casting Rod & Reel Combo

My son is thinking he wants to get back into fishing. He’s been too busy with kids activities for several years. What would be a good bait casting combo for someone just getting started again. I usually use spinning gear but he’s kind of interested in baitcasting. Probably staying in the $100 to $125 range if possible.

Don't go to cheap or you won't like the results. Kastking make some affordable bcs. I have one that i like. Some pros are sponsored by kastking. I can't swear to their durability but if price is an issue it would make a good starter

Check out some of Lew's Mach series. They run about $125-$175, and less if you find a sale.

I got a Shimano SLX combo on American Legacy Fishing.com for like $159. I haven't used it yet, but it seems very nice. It was a Black Friday deal, but they run some pretty good deals quite often.
