Oops yes sorry I have to remember that. Yes I was wondering where you launched from. I lived in Suisun and worked in Napa for many years so very familiar with the water ways there. Miss my late night runs to catch the tides!

Glad you had a very productive date.

One question, did you see any sturgeon jumping?

Well guys,Brad and I went to tha Napa River this morning. Got to the fishin grounds bout 0800 and by 0900 we'd caught 30 stripers. We kept 2 that were bout 21 and 22 inches. We kept fishin tryin to catch one bout 26 or 27 but never did. By 10 we'd caught 50+ fish! Then they stopped bitin. Didn't catch another fish. We tried several different places but nothing. We did catch bout 7 or 8 more that were 22ish but we didn't keep any more. What a GREAT morning!
If we hadn't have hit it just after the tide turned, we wouldn't have caught any. The tide/water movement is EVERYTHING.

You are the most prolific fisher I have encountered.Caught my first fish of the year in 1 hour, then nothing...about a 4lb channel cat,off the back of the yacht in the slip at Lake Lanier,Ga.

Big A.... Saw is the kindest and most generous man I have ever met when it comes to giving others an opportunity to fish with him. Throw in the fact that he has amazing values, is a great conversationalist and gets around physically like he's 20 years younger than his age, well, that's why he had to put up one of those pick a number ticket machines in his front yard. Noe fishing with number.........

That's kind of you Steve. I do try to fish with a lot of different fishermen.
Hopefully you and I will get together again and catch some pretty soon.

Took the boys and anew 10 year old fisherman to Collins today. A little crowded with 4 in the boat but, when Chase caught his 1st ever bass on a Texas rigged worm it was smiles all around. Then we proceeded to catch a bunch of 1 to 3 lb spots. Going to Clear Lake tomorrow to see where the spawn is at. I'll let you know.
