During his last year of college, my Son got a little bored and made me a present for Father’s Day
Probably going to have to see which flavor the fish prefer...

Well, bored mind, or not, those look like a creative mind. I don't know what fish will think so you might give them a try and see if the fish agree. Just Sayin....RJS

As long as he fishes in fresh water, there shouldn't be a problem. Just Sayin...RJS

Very clever and artistic. Great lure for panfish.

I set them aside at the time, but plan to use them and will report back about any successes. I saw videos over a year ago showing a guy who caught a big bass by using an old cell phone and also by using a dollar bill which proved to me you can catch more than strippers with those 😉
Can’t see why those bottle cap lures won’t work!
Have a great day!

Saw a guy catch a fish on one of these once, why not yours.

Exactly! I believe that may have been where he got the idea. I believe I have a spring bobber modeled after a Leinenkugel’s beer can, too. I suspect it will take a pretty good fish to take it down, though. 😉

With mostly Leinie caps, looks like he went to school in state.
I bet they work.

Actually, he graduated from Drake in Des Moines, but he would take some Spotted Cow back with him when he returned to school from home as that is only sold here. Leinie’s is National now.

I’ve got Spotted Cow in the refrigerator. Good stuff.
Is the ice off your central Wisconsin lakes?

Some of the best, for sure. Their Two Women, Staghorn and Cabin Fever are pretty tasty, too!
Some are open, stick to the rivers for a while to be safe. We were scouting for turkeys last weekend and there were quite a few boats on the WI River. Call ahead to be sure the lakes are open and the launches are safe!
