Just started fishing this area and I am from another part of the state I knew well.I have been out a couple of time using simuliar tactics, baits and locations with very little success,So looking for help to get started.I know live bait most likely works better, but Artificials is what I would like to get going with.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Welcome to the stage. Try these. They always produce where I fish in Louisiana. I use a 1/4 Oz jighead. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Yep and I have caught more specs on it than any other lure, I run them in tandem

Years past we used the tandem shad-rigs and the tandem 3” beetles in chartreuse. I may just have to try your method with the gulp. If you don’t mind. 😁😁😁

Don’t know why they quit making them. Along with the chartreuse the avacado and smoke with glitter were also good.

Down South soft plastics. Purple rein works great.
