Just bought an 18' Bayliner, 115 HP Mercury fishing boat.
Need suggestions on where to launch and where to fish in upper or lower Tampa Bay, FL.
Thanks in advance.

Can you get down to Sarasota? Lots of mangrove islands down yonder. How about Newport Richey? Fish around the mouths of canals.

Use the Gandy ramp for upper bay.....Simmons Park ramp for lower bay....O'Neills or Ft. Desoto will cut your run time for lower bay

Theres a boat launch on Cortney Campbel causeway ( Rt 60 ) on the Tampa side. From there you can go upper or lower Tampa Bay. Red tide restrictions are still on for trout, redfish and snook.

True, forgot about that ramp. If he wants an unforgettable experience I suggest he tries the ramp at the end of Cockroach Bay road....on a weekend
