Looks like Fun Fun Fun to me. Now you know how to catch more. I love hooking Sturgeon. Scars on legs arms and hands from their Exoskeleton Razors.

What kind of fish is that? Are they good to eat?

He called it a Dino as in Dinosaur. White Sturgeon. Yes meat is much like Halibut. Very few bones. They are Exoskeleton so the bones are on the surface of its skin. Bone marrow is between skin and meat.

Nearly took my finger off when he ran by boat as my net was too small doing it on own and tried to grab his tail, had line in my hand....deep cut to remember him by!

Thank you everyone who answered my questions. Bad donut, since you referred it as a Dino. Should we say it taste like a dinosaur?

I love good Sturgeon but never ate anything besides them that may be a Dinosaur. OOPs I forgot birds have been proven to be related to Dinosaurs so Chicken Duck....etc might be a version we currently have.

I have scares on inside of my Palm from them. Legs from Sturgeon Fishing in Summer in Shorts they like slicing us up. I suppose if I was getting rassled around I would probably slice up a person too. Like Sturgeon Fishing for sure. I took many keepers years ago. I think we can only keep one a year or something here now.
