Shoot! I was in a bass tournament! I had to get up on the motor and chase him. I thought I had the kicker to win until I finally saw the fish. My Ranger live wells wouldn’t fit the fish anyway. And...the fish didn’t count! But it was fun on my bass tackle. My knot musta been legit. Lol.

Had a tournament partner catch a 22 pound catfish on a deep jig one time.
Sucker had us all over the lake.
I caught a 16 pound carp on a square Bill one time. Same thing. The chase was on.
Hooked and lost the biggest musky I’d ever seen on a tube. Took about 10 minutes and 2 cigarettes for the shaking to let up enough to retie.
