If it’s trout in a river, 5 minutes. An easily spooked fish. Those first two casts need to be ‘bout perfect. Regretfully mine aren’t . Pan fish, where there is one, there are more. A lot longer here. As for Bass, well no one is going to nominate me for the Bass hall of fame. I won’t even profess to give advice on that.
Smalls ok. Bigguns wormy.

Ibclyde, you probable still would have ran out ot bait. This time of the year, it is hard to catch decent walleye. Good job, Clyde!

The bigger blacks are usually wormy, how come the reds aren't?
I fish a small creek boat and move a lot. My fishing is two fold in that I enjoy the scenery as much as the fishing. I will look for and work the structure in an area and if I don't get any bites move on to the next spot.
