Crabs, crayfish Thermals!
Good job bknecht
Fiddler crab
Sheepshead love them, as do black drum, redfish, and any other fish that will eat a crab. They are great bait, and collecting them is easy. A fresh fiddler is perhaps the best of all baits for sheepshead.
Some kind of crab. Not quite like the ones we have around here Mike 🤣
Thats a male fiddler crab. Great bait for sheephead near any pylon.

It is a Fiddler Crab and is a great bait for Sheephead and Tau Tog (Blackfish) fish. You catch them at low tide in areas that expose mud flats at that time. Some bait stores carry them, but are rather expensive.

I'm here G. as usual a day late and 20$ short. I have not mastered the fiddler, but barnacles on the other hand is my go to bait for those bait steeling convicts
Around here they tend to use green crabs for bait since you can get them in traps. The best way to catch fiddlers is tangle them in a cast net on the mud flats where they burrow.

Mud bug, crawfish, crawdad and yummy
Crawfish, or Crawdad. They work for many fish, have even caught trout with them as bait.
