Going fishing Northern California coast

Hello all Iām DTong new to here since last month I and my son are planning to go fishing š£ up the coast next month both salt and fresh water will be jumping from one area to another for about 5 days any suggestions on what and where we can fish š£ with success for our trip

Greetings: I would suggest contacting the Outdoor Pro shop , in cotati.
They have an ear to all Norcal fishing, fresh/salt, and have a huge inventory
for any gear you might lack.

I subscribe to Sportsman's Warehouse for their Fishing Reports. I also watch Fish Sniffer Videos for reports and Tips on YouTube (Fish Hunt and Shoot Productions)

How far up the coast do you plan to go?
Just moved to the Sea Ranch area and hoping to find some good spots for Rock Cod and Surf Fishing. Good luck and keep us posted.

Well sea ranch I plan on going all the way to crescent city making stops along the way to fish and explore

Some of the stops will be Fort Bragg, Shelter cove, Humboldt bay and what I might find in between
