My next investment is more than likely a tackle-backpack or just buying a backpack and adding boxes. do y’all have any that you’ve tried and liked or want to try?

There are so many Tackle Backpacks nowadays, google it. Amazon has several as well. Walmart even has a backpack/chair combo that has a built in tacklebox and really nice built in rod holder.

I’ve used a BassPro backpack for years, very happy w it.
I use my daughters old nap sack from when she was in high school not saying its the best . but how fancy does a nap sack have to get
I have a couple of the Bass pro shop soft tackle boxes with the clear plastic storage trays I keep one somewhat empty and when I have to go on any hiking trip to get to a place I’ll put what I think I’ll need in the tray and place into the pack for easy carry

I have just a simple olive green backpack I got an army navy store and have a couple plastic boxes for each kind of fishing that I do like pan fishing or catfishing or bass fishing. I just simply change out the plastic boxes plus gives me more room to add lunch, drinks,an a little bit of TP just in case lol. Just like forests mama said simple is as simple does 😁
If you’re fishing with a nap sack it implies you’re going light. Only bring what you need. Just in case I keep matches steel wool (dry) small flashlight compass just in case. It not hard to get lost in the north maine woods can’t forget some warm clothes
I was using a back pack before it became fashionable. I’ve used several actually; all from my local Goodwill/thrift shop. Why buy new when “broken in” works just as well! I have several plastic cases that I swap out depending on the circumstances and I’m good to go.
There’s no kneed to reinvent the wheel
I'll jump in since I just bought one. I was looking for something that was truly waterproof, not water resistant and found one from Mustad that was highly regarded. I pull a fishing cart onto the beach to surf fish and got it dumped by a wave this year and much of the stuff in my tackle box was ruined by the end of the day. This bag is really big so if you're wanting to wear it all day it may get heavy. But it was just what I needed to keep everything from rusting in saltwater. It's a Mustad MB010, UPC number 023534069015 if you are interested.
Just like a few others have posted, I have a cpl old backpacks that I use and just change out storage boxes and plastic bags as needed, kind of limits you to what you can bring, blessing and hinders I guess.
I bought the (x) large recon. It has everything I need in a bag. Comes with a waterproof protection cover. You can roll it or hump it, either shoulder or shoulders. Great bag. Expensive though.
I got away from boxes & backpacks this year,I bought a Milwaukee pack out system ,in the process of finding all the storage boxes i need to fill it up
I have a similar setup with RIGID boxes but that gets a bit hard to move the stake around especially when you want to go out for a quick power fish before or after work
