Very nice. Stuff dreams are made of
10 in a row is incredible. Warm water discharge ?
I once got 7 smallies in a row and missed number 8. Little waterfall with grass on both sides , Probly 8 - 10 ft wide. Western Indiana
Most were dinks but a couple 2 pounders.
Nothing like those hawgs you got.
Thanks for sharing that.

That's definitely a tight line day! Thanks for the pix! Are you gonna let us know what you changed up to so maybe we can try? We still have hard water here. Tom

Yes. The whole lake is 67-70 degrees right now. Full moon coming Thurs. I'll be there w days after. Good luck. Take a look at the U tube video INSPIRATIONAL FISHING by Jeramiah Johnson. We worked together producing it. It fits life!!

wow...you had a great time to remember as long as you live. Reminds me of"what if" a friend and i went fishing on this farmers huge pond put in a year or so ago . And of course, we being kids on bikes we never had the guts to ask permission first, so we'd sneak in there and started to fish. My friend"tim" told me he heard they had trout in there, so to use night crawlers on a single hook with split shot added about a foot above the bait.It wasnt long before his line started going out...he pulled in a 15" rainbow and i followed with a 16" The next morning, we repeated our trepass and he'd haul in a 16", while i bested him with a 17". Once more to three peat, he nailed a 17 " and i got an 18"... all rainbows. Imagine if we kept it up till we either got caught ourselves or after another week of crazy luck like that?

It was really unimaginable! I started hyperventilating at the start of the 10 in a row, after the 3rd bass. Then it turns to adrenaline, so I kept going! Not for the weak, I promise. What's Fshn like in "Doug's land" right now?

That’s not fishing that’s catching. Good going. Hopefully you’ll have a chance to slowdown, relax, and fish next time.

Fool....great pics, great story. That will be a fishing day you remember as long as you live! I don't know if I'll ever get used to the total caught weight format though. My mind goes right to you need 5 14lbers for a 70 pb day. Lol

Yes. About 80% of my fishing is from the surf. I am however increasing my time in freshwater a lot. The fish is a red drum caught a Oregon Inlet NC and was just 40 inches and somewhere around 45 to 50 pounds.
