It a squid, there edible to fish and humans, I can't say I have ever eaten them. Mealworms make better bluebird food than trout food. A lot of people ice fish with them.

Beat again, good job, guys!

That's a squid Mike, used to use them for Fluke bait. Lots of fish will eat them, and some people too. Not me because I have a personal rule, I don't eat, what my food eats! LOL!
Mealworms work for Trout, but are very fragile.

Calamari! Deep fry very quickly, squeeze on the lime juice, maybe some cocktail sauce? Delicious! If you over cook it, you might just as well eat rubber bands.

You got that right. Try it with a little marinara sauce for dipping. Or if you haven't tried it yet , grill it, especially the tentacles.

Aero or arrow squid, good for bait and frying for a snack. Different from calamari, they have the wings almost the length of their body. Sold in food stores they are both sold as calamari rings.

We use whole squid for a variety of bottom fish. Lately it’s been snapper and grouper.

A lot of seafood turns into rubber if overcooked. Shrimp - scallops - clams and conch specially.
