Well, surpisingly enough i am scheduled to get my first Covid - 19 shot today. I will report back on any side effects or how I am doing later. Just Sayin....RJS
glad you're able to get it. I'm eligible now, but haven't found anywhere that has it. I'll keep looking.
Well,.. I competed against Pfizer all my pharmaceutical career, or trained others to do so. I believe that Pfizer was the best and strongest competitor for the products they made. Now, I get my small retirement check from them.
My company was purchased lock, stock and barrel by Another company which in turn was purchaed by Pfizer. Justr Sayin...RJS

Spirit don't you use the VA? Just give them a call. They'll give you the phone # to call to get on their list. Fin

I have been working on it for about a week now and I would like to think that I'm making headway. I'm not a vet.

I do not use the VA. I'm retired USN and that's a whole different ball of wax. I got on a list with the VA and they're supposed to be contacting me when a dose is available. So far, no word. I got a VA loan about 30 years ago and that's the only time other than this list I'm on that I've ever done anything with them.
Yo RJ,
I guess we're both in the same boat today. There's finally something good about being 76 years young!
I'm getting shot today here in San Diego...it's a good thing! We have what they're calling Covid-19 Super Stations where you drive to a designated area, get in a long line and finally get your first of two vaccinations. It kind of looks like things are picking up a little bit with this vaccination program. Of course my lovely wife has to wait a little longer as she is 7 years younger than me, but she's got beauty on her side, so I think she'll be fine.
Anywhoo, glad to hear you're up to bat today....knock it out of the park my friend!
RJS - I got my shot through the VA last Friday. They gave me some paper work so I could keep track of, and report on, any side effects. So far, none, nada, zilch, zero. Even the injection point wasn't sore.

Getting mine on Friday, Spirit.
Lots of places in San Diego, I have an appointment to get it in Vista so it’s not that far away.
Wife is getting hers on Thursday, I set it up that way just to see if there are any side effects before I get mine.
Just kidding.
We couldn’t get them at the same time even though we stay in the car to get the shots.
That’s the way government works.

I hope that's a wave moving north. So far just talk up here. From what I've seen you folks down that way need it more than we do.
still getting set up here in idaho
Spirit - VA is going by age and risk. I'm 83 and I was among the first 200 since they started here in Texas last week. Friend of mine in middle 70's hasn't heard yet. Anchors Aweigh!
