It's really good here right now if your brave enuff to walk on rotten ice.lol. but the fishing is awesome. Lotsa 30 pounders being caught.

Even 30 pounders ain't worth goin out on bad ice for.

Fishing is really slow here, hardly worth going out but what the heck it's better than sitting indoors.

Mixed bag down here ST. Weather has a lot to do with it. Its never easy in the winter and the wind has been spanking. I'm hearing the guys who fish the Brownsville Ship Channel are doing okay and I see a lot of cars parked on the highway by the bridge. Last two times out shallow water was completely unproductive and I ended up fishing for snappers in 35' of water alongside the fueling pier.
