That’s awesome, when my wife goes with me I turn into a guide and do everything for her and love every minute of it.

I am sure I am in the minority, but I would not consider going fishing without my wife. She knows how to fish, and that is fact! We both can't wait for opening day when we will be able to cast our lines and wait for that first tug on our lines! We use only artificial bait and practice catch and release. She even takes her fish off the hook. I am 74 years old and do not work anymore due to a work related injury. I was in the automotive repair business my whole life including being a tank mechanic from 1966-1969 and loved every minute of what I used to do. If not for the injury I would still be working, but now WE have more time to launch our 14' aluminum boat hang the electric motor on the back and off WE go!

That's awesome. My wife loves to fish but doesn't go much. She really loved CATCHING fish but really don't have the patience for slow days. She loves to cook fish, eat fish and catch fish. Just not quite as addicted to fishing as I am. She loves getting out on the boat when it's nice out as well. I'm pretty lucky to have her but you've a unique situation for sure. I'm happy for you guys. That's pretty rare.
Once you teach them to pee in a 5 gal bucket they are more willing to go.

I have had bad luck with 2 wifes. The first one ran away, and the second one stayed!

My wife loves to go fishing with me! Such a blessing to have her help carry some of the gear too! Super fishing in the state of Utah and beautiful mountains!!
crazy bill my wife and I are both 86 years old bought a new pontoon boat and started fishing at a little lake here in Texas. she has never fished before and beat the pants off me. I told her next week we will have a class on how to put a worm on the hook, how to cast and how to take a fish off the hook. That did not work but I sure am happy she will go with me.

My wife has two veterinary clinics, works her butt off...me going fishing during the week is a very touchy subject, one I am incredibly careful with. I will have to deal with a list of things she expects done, I will pay for fishing days, that is part of the deal. Having a discussion about the rules of engagement I accidently used the words fishing whenever I want...holy crap, it took me ten minutes to unpack that one and convince her I did not mean it like that, that I was talking about getting out perhaps as much as once a week tops. My strongest pitch has to do with doing the scouting so that we can get out for a day on her days off and put her into serious fish.
I'm mostly teasing, we have a good time out on the water.

We got a portable potty seat thingy, and I found a taller than normal 7 gallon bucket, big difference
