I bought a variety of those a year or two ago from Wish.com., super cheap, some of them. My friends get one for birthday or Christmas, or in the case of one good friend who was retiring (and is gay !), an assortment in a spiffy box.....his boyfriend was not amused, but he most certainly was !
I have actually caught a trout with both the brass one and the copper version.... should have checked the gender of the fish.... otherwise, can't really be sure of the defining attraction, now can I ?
The little brass ones, minus the feathers were less than a dollar. The ones shown were maybe $1.25-1.50. Best gag gift I have bought in years, especially if the recipient is a fisherman, but "appreciated" by all.... mostly, I think. Although, I never did hear back from the ex-wife.... sent her the largest one they make, as a Christmas present last year ('19), with a note reading.. "Do you miss going fishing, Cindy ?".

Sometimes, even after 14 years, you gotta get just one more jab !

Spirit! Now that’s just too funny!
And yes... I’m thinking small strippers might go after them pretty well!

Here they are on Amazon. Surely we can come up with something better than that? Balzy Blade? Bicho Blade?

Eagle claw around # 6 treble if I can find 3x strong I will clip the eye of the hook next to the shank bend it out put it on the blade and bend it back. If not I will use a split ring

I'm in the FL Panhandle and live on the Blackwater River. During this time of the year (Winter), I bounce these HOMEMADE blade baits off the +/- 30' bottom of the river and load the boat with White Trout. These things, at 1/4 oz, get to the bottom extremely fast even during swift running water.

I just got home from fishing blade baits for walleye that I made
from Barlow's mold (120 of 'em). One thing I started doing to
reduce the problem of the rear hook occasionally hanging up on the
body is to cut the hook eye in one place, bend it apart, insert it into
the tail hole of the lure and pinch it back together -- getting rid of the
split ring. I suspect you may be using Barlow's components too; if so,
they use high quality trebles that won't break when you cut and attach them
to the body.

She has to have surgery done on her right (other) arm next Monday. Will be in a sling for 6 weeks , then can't lift anything for 3 1/2 MONTHS. So it's gonna be awhile till I can get back on the water.

Mine X is out of my life. Wouldn’t want to suggest anything or cause reason for a response. Good riddance. Blood money done. But if I was sending something it would probably be illegal and that isn’t my style either.

I got no response, and didn't expect one. Probably would not have done it, except that I had run into the guy she had been dating for two years and had just broken up with, (and knew a decade before I met her in '96, parted in '06).... didn't even know they were dating !
Without any prompt, he started to tell me about their relationship, which I was definitely not interested in hearing about, of course. I let him go on for a short while, when he suddenly surprised me by telling me that every time they fought, she brought up that "she said she sure missed your d**k !" ....his words !! Why, oh why would he share that ? With absolutely anyone ???
"Taken aback" hardly described my reaction when told this, believe me. When the lures arrived just before Xmas, I simply could not resist the gesture. Have no idea how it played on her end upon receipt, don't really care...I got my satisfaction when I packaged it and mailed it !
Now my FIRST ex-wife....glad she moved out of state. My actions if I were to encounter her in person, circumstances not withstanding.....yeah...I might be in jail....still. LOL !

Lol. Spooning lures. How original. I’m doubtful we could come with anything much better. 😂
