Yep. I've caught a ton of bluegill on a beetle spin in days gone by. Hopefully I can duplicate some of those results.

Has anyone ever used one of those beetle spins for trout? I'd never heard of the thing at all till someone posted on here about it. I've used a small bass spinner for trout, never any luck. What do you think?

I know nothing about trout fishing. I do know that I've caught bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish on beetle spins. I am going to try one when I fish the stocked trout in a couple of weeks.

Yeah. Please let me know how that works for you. I'm not a bass fisherman so I don't own a lot of bass lures. When I used to bass fish, I would occasionally catch a catfish on a spinner bait.
