What braid do you recommend for bass fishing.
I have only been back to fishing two years and have used braid with a Fluor leader which I like. Tried spider wire and hated it, so went to Power Pro. I like it but it is pricey. What do you guys like and why? There are so many brands on the market, my head is spinning!

Hey McGee. I use Jbraid 4 because I got some on sale. I like it and I actually use 8# for throwin small swimbaits for bass. Works really well and I can tie directly to the lure. 8# braid is the diameter of 2# mono. It lets me cast a 1/8 to1/4 oz jig headed swimbait bout 30 yards.
I use 30# braid for bass when I'm crankin and also for when I'm striper fishin.
Check E-Bay for off shore tackle sellers. most carry braid dirt cheap. Have bought several spools of 1000 meters for around $20.00 each, some have free shipping !
My two favorite are Suffix 832 or Seaguar smack down. They are both best casting braid I've tried and good knot strength. But they aren't cheap.

I agree 100% with Gary.
I tried a lot of different braids over the last several years and have concluded seaguar smackdown and Suffix 832 are the best for my style of fishing
Max Curado is fantastic but not at that price fantastic
Hitena also is amazing but who can afford it. Hitena is almost too thin if that makes sense
Spider wire is probably my least favorite.
For flouro. Tatsu is my all time favorite but I think it’s too pricy.
I use invisX and abraz x on most of my applications
Blue label is great leader but I got a bad spool one time and I’m gun shy
PLine for 3 hook jerkbaits because it’s stiff.
Will try seaguar STS orange label this season for the same reason. This stuff is very stiff

Ben, have you tried P Line CFX, that's even stiffer than P Line 100%, i use it for saltwater fishing but you might like the lower weight for freshwater
I did a braided line survey here on the stage and and power pro was the most popular choice out of 26 people 16 liked power pro.

Have never heard of it
I’m using stiff flouro on jerkbaits because it reduces fouling the trebles and line on the cast. I’m discovering improvement with stiffer than usual flouro . I don’t know how stiff is too stiff
I’ll give it a try.

Has anyone tried Bass pro brand braid. Their label is usually made by a high end company at almost half the price.
Seagar is supposed to make their flouro. I have bought both and short of a microscope they look and behave identically.
I ONLY use Sufix Advanced Super line in 30, 40, 50, & 65lb. Lasts longer, maintains strength, excellent casting line. The heavier is used for bull Reds and pulling Bass from heavy vegetation. I can cast 3/8oz 17MR all the way to Mexico on the smaller line. Costs a little more, so try Amazon...
