Welcome to the Forum, Wilke30, I'm from Caledonia, MN. I heard that they were getting a few out of Lawrence Lake, N. of Brownsville. I haven't been there. The ice is supposed to be good, 6+ inches. Good Luck! Where are you from?

Lake Onalaska is usually a good place to start. Not sure if they are fishing Desoto Bay just south of Lacrosse. I’ve had good luck there with perch, walleye and sauger.

Just found out Desoto Bay is iced over and perch and big gills are biting.

My buddy just went to Desoto bay and Green lake, sat and watched both for about 1/2 hour each and about 30 fishermen on each lake. Not one fish brought in either lake . Fish were coming in on shore Slough just north of Lansing they got limits in less than 4 hours . Would be more specific on shore Slough but he didn't say upper or lower end . Hot for about 1/2 hour then shut off for a short wile then turn on again. He thought they were moving thru the lake to stage somewhere.
