Been skunked everyday I've been so far. I was wondering what would work best (strategies, etc.)

Fish smaller flies, fish them deeper, target slower water, fish junk (worms, eggs, etc), and streamers.

There are a lot of variables depending on where you're fishing and what kind of water. You might want to be more specific.

The recent Orvis podcasts have been about Winter fishing and would be worth a listen.

Thanks. Small rivers, mostly shallow. Deepest parts average 4-10 feet deep.

Fish dry droppers in the shallow spots to keep from spooking the fish. In the deeper parts or parts with faster water, chuck 2-3 fly nymph rigs at them under an indicator. If you get them down deep enough and keep your drifts tight, you'll catch fish.

You pretty much covered it all right there. Nice work.

excuse me I need to fish now Loc: Puyallup, Washington (near Tacoma)

Yeah stick with nymphs and fish them on the bottom. Not much hatching right now; some, but not a lot. The nymphs spend the winter on the bottom getting ready to hatch in the Spring (or whenever their cycle is up). Good luck
