First time here.
Hello. I’m retired DoD from MD (Chesapeake Bay Area) and recently moved to Panama City Beach (Bid-A-Wee community/Front Beach Rd).
I have fished the Chesapeake (striped bass/rock fish) and MD waters (bass/trout) for 40 years, but finding the Gulf of Mexico to be a completely different game, both in size and species amount.
Looking forward to learning the area and will pay serious attention to any/all advice.
Thanks, Bob
Hello, I’ll Ron from Frankfort Kentucky. I’m a 72 year old man and a Veteran of the Vietnam era. I love too fish and have been for over 60+ years. I mostly fish for Bass of all kinds. I’m now fighting Live Cancer but this doesn’t stop me from fishing. I love too talk to other fishermen and get advice and pointers and share things. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks RON 🙏🇺🇸👍

Welcome to the Forum, Bob. Check out the piers, there are a lot of them around. You will love it down there. Drive up to Mexico Beach & St. Joe, good fishing up there too. Tight Lines! St Joe has one of the best head boats around. I can't remember the name of the boat or the Captain's name, sorry.
