So looking for opinions on what lures work best for spring time bass in lakes and where to look. Really wanting to get heavy into fishing this year since will have more time to go.

Welcome to the Forum, Greereng, good luck!
What are you looking to fish for
First choice in your area is likely Maumee River Walleye run in April
Jigs with twist tails. And floating jig heads Carolina rigged . It’s real snaggy
Later on the white bass run is good
Crap. I read your location wrong. Thought you were north West Ohio
Pick up some jerkbaits , Texas rugged soft plastics. Ned rigs, couple top waters, spinner baits, buzz baits, swim jigs , and a couple square Bill cranks.
This will get you started
My go to lake is clendening lake with is a 9.9 limited lake with lots of shorelines and will be using a boat
welcome G. Can't help you with lure dilemma in your area. Ben can give you good advise. Tight lines.

I have had a lot of success during the cold months at clendening at the spillway!
