Either change out the sticker or get a good painter to paint the lower HP

Yeah Hunt, that's a tough one to pull off. That's the next one coming nationwide,4 stroke only, hopefully not for a while.
That 4 stroke business bothers me. My 14 ft boat has a 2 stroke 25 hp yamaha on it that is pristine. I bought it 5 years ago from a yamaha dealer. The motor was new but was in storage from 2006 when it was bought til 2016. I would probably just sell the boat before I would buy a new 4 stroke at my age. Damn government anyway.

Yeah Coon, I've got a 25 merc on my 14ft tin boat also, and don't want to have to buy a $3500.00 motor to replace a perfectly good motor. Besides I love driving around guys with 30 or 35hp 4-strokes LOL.

Im afraid someone could buy a boat pretty cheap if they go to 4 stoke only. Mine would go!

Maybe they won't outlaw the 2 strokes. The government could place a $200 tax stamp on a 2 stroke plus another $200 on a fuel tank that holds over 3 gallon. Whatever happens we should know the government is only doing it to protect us.
Well fellas, start saving your money. There's a reason all the big motor companies are starting to build all electric engines. There's already electric boat motors being used and more testing every day. soon all combustion engines will be outlawed on all water ways. This is only the start of the great, "Green New Deal" we all couldn't wait to get going. Not more changing oil or gassing up to go for a fishing trip. I just wonder if there Gunna have charging stations in the lakes, rivers and oceans.??? This is Gunna be so cool. And it shouldn't cost much cuz all the power comes from the wind and the sun.!!!!!!! It might even be free. EVERYTHING FREEE every thing !!!Guys I can not wait to see how this all works out. Awesome ππ€

They started in California,of course, with weedwackers, leafblowers, chainsaws etc. I believe that the 30yr plan to ban sales of 2strokes started in the 90s. Until then no one made 4stroke anything except lawnmowers and tractors, and snowblowers. All small engines were 2stroke. Honda was the only Outboard company trying 4strokes. Not wanting to lose sales in California was the reason 4stroke outboards became a thing. Don't forget, auto emissions equipment (smog pumps, catalytic converters etc) all started in California. I believe the phrase was "As California goes, so goes the country".
I don't think they will ban the ones in use, but they have already killed sales of new ones, with the death of Evinrude, which was the last 2stroke made.

See Egg, there IS an advantage to be getting older, and closer to the end.
We won't have to put up with it for that long.
Fishing is out but the metal detecting is on now.
They drained one lake close to me by 30 feet. Went out and found 3 silver coins and one diamond ring.
Flip the props around is cuts down your speed by half.

Yeah right, lol. Water and electricity, hmmm. Get a lightning β‘ rod, and fish the storms and charge for free. Yup, glad I won't be around to see it.
If you continue to vote these controlling Dummycrates into office in your state you deserve everything you get. Hopefully the nation is waking up. Hate to get political but the facts are the facts. Unfortunately these liberals that messed up their states are moving to other states and doing the same thing all over again.

Just remember, it was the under-informed population that took the Dem platform at face value. Free, free, free for all.
Yup it will be a free-for-all when they assume office and raise taxes to pay for all of the free.
