Hello fellow anglers
I've been fishing in Colorado since the early 1980s and have been living in the Denver metro area since 1997.
I love fishing for trout with my family.
St Vrain state park is one of our longtime favorite spots for a day trip.
Granby, Willow Creek Reservoir and The Vail valley for I70 corridor trips.
West of Colorado Springs we have been to Farish USAF recreation area, Rainbow Falls, and Eleven Mile.
I would like to discover new spots in Colorado and someday learn to fly fish.
I wish you well and may you catch your limit next time on the water

Hi Jason, welcome aboard. Thanks for filling everything out. You'll get alot if info from these guys, and some you read to your wife with discretion. Or learn the hard way.lol.
Welcome Jason. Love Colorado. I have back packed in the San Juan mountains there in the 1990’s. Beautiful area. Entered at the Cimarron trail head and spent 9 days hiking and fishing. No luck in the high lakes along the divide. But we hit the trail after a rain that produced the greatest display of mountain flowers I have ever seen. No less than 10 different colors of Indian paint brushes. Many other species too. I got a mountain jay that was trying to steal my stove wind screen to eat out of my hand. Great memories.
