HI everyone,
I am lee from Rochester, NY. I just got out of the hospital surviving covid-19 and pneumonia. Although the health dept. has finally released me off quarantine, my wife has put her foot down-no fishing. I am still weak from the ordeal but getting stronger every day. So, if anyone has some fishing stories or pics of anything freshwater..send them my way. Thank you all and have a blessed day.

Welcome to the Forum, Lee1947, we have another Lee on here too. We best put numbers when referring to you guys. I'm flyguy, and we also have Flytier on here, and sometimes we get confused when they refer to us as Fly, well,,,,,,,,,, which Fly do you mean?

Stay safe now, and listen to your bride, they know best.

Hate to say it Lee, but just may have to listen to the Mrs this ( 1 ) time. Both that covid and pneumonia can sneak back up on you and have you flat on your back again. Give it two weeks and then venture out a little longer each day. Heck take some nature pics from the house and post them. Plenty of fish in the sea as the saying goes, they are just getting bigger waiting on you.

Lee I have to say I agree. Don’t push too hard. The fish will be there when you are ready

Welcome Lee, your best bet is to take they're advice you don't want to weaken you immune system any more than it already is, just sit back and relax for a couple more weeks and heal, it won't be long

Glad to hear you’re back at home with the Mrs! I know it’s hard to admit sometimes the girls are right. So sit back and relax. Because when you do get back to fishing you will be feeling that much stronger and healthier

Morning Lee. I’m guessing that’s your birth year which makes you 5 years wiser than me. We have a great guy on here that goes by Iteachflyfishing. Check out his pictures and stories. They’re great.
Like the other guys have said, listen to your bride. You don’t want a relapse. And when you do get to wet a line we want pictures. Thanks

Have wife cook you some fish for lunch and have a cold beer. Get your strength back for some spring fishing. Get your gear out and clean and oil it up for some future fishing. The hunch will be a good start with the wife. Glad you made home brother.

Lee, I’m kinda home bound too, and I get my fishing done here on the Stage. Covid is really kicking up around here so I can’t go much anywhere. Found out this morning our pastor has covid-19 now. Got it from another church member, so I’d listen to the wife and get your fishing kicks right here.
